Anyone ever hear of Micro Maulers?
« on: December 28, 2015, 09:17:19 PM »
They seem to be WWF Wrestlers.
I'm just wondering if anyone has seen these and what scale they are? Side by side pics with common figures would be great.

Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

Googling online they look like the size of the old plastic green army men.

Sorry, I don't have a pic of them, but I found a vid on you tube...

No real size scale, but it appears they are indeed 'green army man' size.

I'm not a wrestling fan at all, but they are kinda cool!

Not a particular fan of wrestling either, but there are some pretty characterful figs in there that could crossover to other genres.  I've never seen such variety in a pack of plastic toy figs.

I've noticed alot of packs of various 50-54mm'ish cheap plastic figs at Target and Toys R Us and online (Amazon has tons). I've seen fantasy and mythic characters, Medieveal, zombies, aliens, ninjas, modern troopers, cops, skelletons, etc.  Some of them have reasonably good detail too.  And of course there's the Star Wars plastic stuff too (I forget the name of the system)

I'm pretty firmly dedicated to 28/30mm, but with some Krylon Fusion (adheres to soft plastic) basecoats and a bit of brushwork, you could easily put together some neat large-scale setups for convention or promotional gaming.  Could be cool as-is for introducing kids to wargaming too.
