Sisters Of Felstad - An Australian Frostgrave Log
« on: January 03, 2016, 08:26:11 AM »
Hi All

I'm kicking off my games club (Company of Dice) official Frostgrave campaign in February using The Hunt For The Golem. Right now we have 9 players registered, and I'll be using this thread to tell our stories.

As tempting as it is to resurrect my Mordheim gang, I've created this all female warband: the Sisters of Felstad

In preparation for the campaign I've been exploring the rule set (including co-operative style games) and will use the Comic Book! app to encourage the group to paint their warbands while creating a fun way to tell our story. This is my one-sided view of the battle field;

Game #1: The Attack Site
A co-operative game exploring the carnage, looting the bodies and attempting to gain the knowledge of what happened...

Outcome: Collected 260 XP, found a survivor but couldn't heal him, found 60 GP, the Candle of Summoning and Staff of Casting (with Embed Enchantment).

Game #2: The Haunted Houses
Three player free for all in the ruins of an ancient monk order...

Outcome: Collected 370 XP, found 120 GP, the Banner of Couragem and Fleet Feet Grimore.

I'm liking the old school wargaming vibe thing you've got going, and nice work on the shields.

Cheers Von Lucky. I love the 90's era models (probably because that's when I was introduced to Warhammer).

I love it!
Thank you for having a great range of models that makes painting interesting.

Superb. Lovely figs and I'm a big fan of comic book style bat reps!
