Attacking the Supplies

The Monday Nighters kicked off the new year with a Malbourghian Black Powder game which had the French  attacking an Allied town where a supply train had to be moved off the table to win. The French needed to throw a 6 to get the train moving , which they failed to do every turn. In the event they did,nt need to , as they simply attacked successfully all along the line and stopped the frogs in their tracks. One in the eye for the Sun King, Zoot aloes, merde!!!!!!    Pics to follow.

Do you guys play a lot of this period?

Hi Randy, we might play half a dozen games a year in this period , Seven Years War, Malbourghian , WSS, ect. We put on a huge game last year, Aughrim , which I posted up , you might hit the Search button for it. Some guys in the group are mad keen on the Black Powder rules , I,m not such a fan of them , especially when it comes to Napoleonic gaming, but they do serve for the larger games . The new Osprey rules , Honours of War look interesting.
