Original Chris Peers Darkest Africa Rules
« on: January 07, 2016, 11:55:01 AM »
I'm looking for the original "In Darkest Africa" rules. The version that was published in WI by Chris Peers. It came out to supplement the Wargames Foundry figures and had lots of eye candy.
Thanks in advance

Do you mean "In the HEart of Africa" published by HLBS?

I have a copy of the rules and Army lists for sale if you're interested? £10 for both plus postage

thanks

No, the one published in WI was a forebear of sorts for "In the Heart of Africa" but it is quite a bit different. Not sure whether it has ever been made available outside of the magazine. I have the issues it came in, but I don't want to sell, I'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure it's in one of the painting books from Foundry, which also had the Pirate and Roman articles in as well.

Good job all round there, folks.

You know, I've got that Foundry compendium and I completely forgot that those rules were in there.  :)

And while you're at it you might as well get the simple campaign map upsized and laminated like I did. It remains in its original resting place on top of a wardrobe.

Thank you! I've got the magazine somewhere, but this saves me finding them! ;)
