Yeah, the last books were kind of a disappointment.
I figured he kinda looked like the man with no name without the poncho.

I think Stephen King hints at a resemblance to Clint in the third book when he travels through to our world.

Got to have a couple of fingers missing though, and Pete is right, avoid the last couple of books, Stephen King claims to despise metafiction (appearing in own books) but does exactly that. After years of waiting, the ending was indulgent, insulting and a complete cop-out. Apparently it had to end that way.

Glad I wasn't the only one disappointed with the later books (though Wizards And Glass was pretty good)...

I enjoyed Wolves of the Calla until the priest found a copy of Salem's Lot. That's when the worry set in. Before that I liked the fact that Flagg had shown up in the Dark Tower books and didn't mind if other characters would show up, it was when the author started showing up that I read the last two books with gritted teeth. Still. I hope Kev sculpt Roland, he's a great character.

Yeah, if memory serves me right, it's when Jake sees a movieposter in his world, before he is sucked back in Roland's world. Though he does add that it's mainly the eyes, so I guess that's not much use for sculpting a 28mm mini...  ;)

I really liked the ending for the dark tower, it like a video game! I like it best when he meets the author!

...Gunslinger...I want to make one...

Making one Gunslinger, or any Old West character is totally pointless.  Whereas making five... ;)  :)  :-*

Yes, Kev, I would totally support this important statement!!

While a mini of Roland would be cool I feel we are all missing the point here. A model of Stephen King is what is needed...you could use it in campaigns that needed to end in the most expediant way. He could be the herald of doom! Alternatly a Jordy Verel model would be tops...pre and post moss of course.

Kev, I'd really like to see you sculpt a whole series of NOT-Dark Tower characters. Roland, Cuthbert, Eddie, Jake, the creepy guy from Lud, maybe some of those weird "flying horrors" from The Waste Lands, definitely some Lobstrosities....

I second the Lobstrocities (nice name that...sounds  lol but also  :P)

Also, Pete, I would never run over S.K. with a van. If I was gonna do it I would hire Emelio Estavezz to hit him with a semi! ...Sounds like the plot for another Dark Tower sequel!

Could do a Misery diorama, SK tied to the bed, Kathy Bates with a saw just about to cut his feet off, caption "Are you going to write yourself out of the last two books, mister man?"
