It seems like I've been waiting all my life for the appearance of clockwork pigs  lol

Marvellous! I wonder how much it will cost?

What's more worrying is that Nic emigrated over there from just 20 miles away from here ....

I love all the Eureka Pax Limpopo ideas - they bring the fun back into a far too serious world. Jus the sort of thing for taking to a wargames show and settinfg up on a spare btable next to the far-too-serious competition gamers lol

not sure how this differs from Pig Tickler, which is a simple yet very strategic game.

Hello all,

I just joined the forum. I am a wargamer in Melbourne. Myself and a bunch of other guys play at the Nunawading Wargames association and we are just starting to get into VSF using Gaslight and Pax Limpopo rules. Mainly painting up Eureka Pax/colonial stuff at the moment.

I dropped into Eureka on the weekend and they had the game setup.
It looks like a lot of fun and the rules are simple but should be a fun strategy game. Also I'll have to have a unit of clockwork pigs in my VSF armies.

Cheers
Neil
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

Well, I guess England does bear a lot of the responsibility for the 'quirks' in the Aussie character.  After all, you transported a lot of your undesirables over there, for more than a century.  Now, look what happened!  :D

We get a fair bit of it over here in Canada, too.  My ancestors were English and probably a bit barmy.  It shows!  ;)

I see, we're getting the blame for all the loons in other countries, eh?  >:(

Fair enough, I suppose. It's probably true  lol  Sadly we seem to have deported all the best cricketers and rugby players too  :'(

And a unit of clockwork pigs loaded with either AP or AT payloads would be pretty much essential in any modern forward-thinking Victorian era army.

Don't know if it's a good idea to get some for my Zanzibaris, though.....
