More figures for the warbands

Three archers, a thief and a oriental barbarian or templar, depending how many zen-selfcontrol have that day our dear friend ;)

The other miniatures as usual, mixed cultist and normal soldiers. The oriental guy is a normal soldier with the greatsword but swapped the blade with the "katana-ish" with the undead arms from the cultist box. The cross-guard is from a candle base from Tiny Tales. The head, from the persian set. The symbol is from a japanese clan, the Ouchi.

I LOVE your kitbashes!

The javelineer, the axe-and-buckler guy (consider that idea stolen!), the green-robed archer and, above all, that Bedouin-ish templar are incredible.

I may need to grab a box of Wargames Factory Persians...

A long time without painting, and much time spent on the computer ... well, at least I found a colour theme (dark yellow mixed with VA gold brown and black) for the next warband ... I remain to choose the wizards. Now i need a "CL4P-TP" construct and so on the rest... ;D

The intention was to form a band that had some "military order" but without falling into something typical like "Crusaders". Two archers, two crossbowmans, three thugs and a speared infantry-man.

The miniatures are Fireforge Teutonic infantry and unmailed arms from Persian and Arab sets, some Frostgrave arms (modified two-hands axe from cultist set), the closed helm is from Perry War of the Roses Knights and his spear arms from Gripping Beast Viking set.

And a request, a side-photo from the "oriental" kitbashing.

New additions for the warbands, two Templars with "neutral" colours.

Simple conversions: body, cloak and helmets from Fireforge Teutonic. Also the sword on the green guy. Scabbard on the white/red guy, from Gripping Beast Vikings. Arms of both models, Foot Knights from Perry.

A bit lazy, but here are more soldiers for warbands:

Normal Frostgrave soldiers and cultist mix of parts, and a Mule from Reaper. The bald head is from the Ghoul (mantic?) plastic kit. The backpack on helmeted beardman is from the miniature of the knight with the Chaos Marauder shield from previous page.

A while since i posted something painted... busy with other works.

Arab wizards and knight: Saladin from WI miniatures and Reaper Bones, the right with greenstuffed turban

Generic wizard (modified Loka bishop) and a bard (Reaper Bones)

Two generic knights: right from Otherworld miniatures, swapped weapon, shield and backpack, added the rope. Left is Richard the Lionheart from WI miniatures

Great figures,  very vibrant painting.
How comes you never do the bases? They'd look even better!

Man those models look great! But +1 on the bases! Keep it simple, but do something with them. It will make your models much prettier. Check out my log for a super simple scheme that works just fine.

More for the ruins of the Frozen City!

First, about the bases... i don't know how to fille them! Sand, pieces of cork, model some stones... i need a table for them before making any of the bases... sorry for the inconvenience!

Well, the cultist folks. Are Wargames Factory Persians with bits of cultist and FG soldiers and (very bad) green stuff modelled capes. Some weapons (butcher's knife) are from Mantic ghoul sprue.

A pair of Marksman (simple Fireforge miniatures) and a pair of "barbarians" (from Annie's shop)

And finally, a Genie (again from Annie's shop)
