'Labyrinth' Goblins
« on: January 16, 2016, 02:32:52 AM »
Having seen Artizan Design's awesome 'Borderlands' goblin knights, and feeling a desire to do something to commemorate the life of the late, great Goblin King, I was wondering if there are any other goblin miniatures out there that fit that weird and wonderful Labyrinth / Brian Froud style?

Some of these may have a similar flavor (though I may be mixing Labyrinth, Legend, and other movies all together) :

There was a thread about Labyrinth style goblins a while back here on LAF, maybe you can find it.

Aye, those. Andrew May sculpts. Nice wee gribblies. I still have some in the lead mountain, somewhere.

Looks like this project will be a lot of fun.
Do you have any idea of what you might use for the Goblin King/Bowie?

I reckon a bit of a conversion of number 10 of these chaos champions would suit. Might need to file some bits off too and apply some GS

The medieval zombiecide had a not Bowie-Goblin King. Lucid eye also has a rockstar that could be used.

I can second the Nightfolk minis, they're great fun. And the Northumbrian Tin Soldier guys do really good customer service as well.

This guy. http://arcanesceneryandmodels.co.uk/shop/lucid-eye-alien-rock-star-vip001-28mm/
Although he is more Ziggy Stardust than Goblin king.
