K-9s in Black Ops

Aloha all

Does anyone have any ideas on using dogs in Black Ops? I am waiting on an order from Spectre with the new DEVGRU team with K9 and was hoping to use them in a game.

I've used them as a sort of fixed security point ; a dog chained in an area with a 6" movement radius. It will bark at anyone within 1" of its compound fencing creating a noise token and will attack anyone within its movement zone. It can help a defensive position without tipping the balance too much as it can't provide an offensive capability but can help shut down parts of the table in stealth missions or at least make it harder for the attacker if it's previously been too easy. You could extend the principle for guards patrolling with dogs so that the dog barks if anyone comes within an X" radius of the dog (ignoring all but the most robust cover), recognising the dog's ability to hear and smell the attackers (or civilians). The dog could potentially be let off the leash to attack the 'target' with an action from the guard or could allow the guard a significant bonus on their reaction roll allowing them to move towards the 'target'. The flipside would be that the dog would also react like that to the presence of civilians (but not other guards; maybe it recognises their scent). Just some ideas I was thinking about.

Thanks Elk

That should help the Narcos in keeping their stash safer. Any idea on points cost?

Cheers
Matt
