Looks fantastic! Brilliant job. Got a feeling I might be trying something similar having seen how good yours looks  :)

Thanks everyone.  I still haven't quite decided how it will play in a game but I'm thinking that it'll have three single turbolaser cards plus a shield and hull rating for each battery, for each landing pad, for the control area,  and for the shield generator. That should allow attacking players to determine their own strategy rather than just a headlong rush to damage the station. Do they take out the guns first, hit the shields. Etc

You can also put a rule to roll each x turns for reinforcements to help defend the base, and how many ships come.

You may also be surprised just how much plonking something of that size on the table will affect the combat between other ships, even without making rules for it.
We played on Friday using some rocks as obstacles, which certainly made for a more fun and thought provoking game than a 'flat' playing field.

Thanks for the tips. I like the idea of the guide lines,  perhaps running back into the main building.
