Hyena Demon: new printing project
« on: January 22, 2016, 02:14:48 PM »
Since the day I first read the Heroes villans and Fiends expansion
I really like the Zulu company.

The only problem for me was the fact that there are no really cool Hyena Demon models
(for the bouda, you can inklude one if you have these other dude inkludet)

Well, to solve this problem and to practice a bit of 3d modelling
for printing I start up with a project to model one.
Some Ideas already came to mind. My question to you is now
Should the Hyena Demon have some feathers or stuff like this to match with the zulu warriors?

Here is a first wip pic:

I will pose it later when all the anatomy stuff is done

cheers

I will start modelling it "naked" clothes and some other stuff could later be attached.
In the moment I have no Idea about clothing at all
should he get one?

Despite being a bit of a prude to some peoples estimation, in this case it would be certainly correct to either make it nude or match the dress style of the Zulus.  I, actually, think nude would be a better choice but I can see an argument for both styles.  You could make two with one nude and one clothed.

Agreed, 'nude' is the appropriate, but I might suggest strategically placed 'tufts of fur'. If that was useful, hope it wasn't too late in the process.

I actually make it "nude" but I will save the file so modelling some
zulu style clothes are not that difficult.

But for now the project has to wait since I have to much to do.
I will later post an up to date picture, I started working on the fur and it has claws now.
but it still has to get a more agressive look.

cheers
