Cheers Andym :)

No idea of the chapter yet, most likely it's going to be a non-canon one, something from my imagination :) Colourwise I plan on white main colour, with either blue or most likely red for some armour parts. Green tint for the helmet lenses. Gun metal for bolters and such.

Sergeant is not yet started thus I present the world next servant of the Masters of Red Planet, Skitarii Hunter and Tracker, Master Venatius:

I think he will get a deep red robes (perhaps with grey markings), fitting for an AM faction.

Comments etc welcome.

It's the Cairn Wraith body:

Ah, very cool.  I don't know the Warhammer line well enough, but that's an excellent conversion.

Thank you gents, much appreciated. Keeps me motivated to ponder upon new possible conversions :)

Here's the pic of the whole Ad Mech gang so far with the newest member included. I guess after this it's time for the SM sergeant and after that no excuses not to start the dreaded painting part!  o_o

Love your hunter/tracker. It's fascinating to see all the different ways that figure gets used.

What about keeping the marine colours close to Roman soldiers? Brown leather colour with gold trim, a bit of silver/metal plating and red?

Wow pocoloco, this is a cracker of a thread so far. The conversions are mad, I am liking the sci Fi robes/tubes and wire gubbins covered synths. You have a very nice personalised and unique squad. Stella work mate. 8) 8) 8)

Cheers
Matt

@blacksoilbill: Many thanks :) Have you used that mini as a conversion point?

@Andym: that could work, yet I have already bought the paints for the white scheme  ::) And that legionnaire colours sound even more daunting than the white scheme  o_o :)

@Constable Bertrand: Cheers Matt :) Glad you like them. Still long way to go with these, not even mentioning that final hurdle, painting  o_o

Here's the marines with the sergeant included:

Hopefully the paint on the sergeant makes him look like a proper marine sergeant, maybe I should have used the legendary non-helmeted head to show how tough he is? :)

edit: yes, there are still barrels to be drilled and some tidying up to do.

I have the mini lurking in a drawer - one day! Squad is looking good. You should give us a snap with a normal sized mini: show us how intimidating they all are together!

I like that Sergeant. 8) Just watch your mould lines mate. There seems to be one one the power fist and flamer on him.

Thanks gents, mould lines will be addressed and those barrels as well as soon as I find the suitable drill bit :/

Here's a size comparison pic, they are bit more imposing sizewise than regular out of the box marines:
