No worries. It all looks great and we are ready to battle it out now.
I see you have brought along some blondies to put your warriors aside from my all blackhaired boyz. Alexander didnt get his good looks from strangers  :D

I have some spears you can have. Just remind me.

So tonight Erik and I have our first game with our freshly painted forces. But it dawned on me that I don't have any suitable scenery. So I made this yesterday.

Well actually I just painted the board and made the house. I have no real clue as to how Mycenean houses look like. But I feel this looks the part. For now the hedges will stand in for olive or wine trees.

Here my forces stand ready to attack Eriks men.

Look here

http://historyofrchitecture.blogspot.com/2010/12/ancient-egyptian-architecture.html

Not much but there are some reconstructions and archaeological digs.

There is even terracota hous model known!

- not sure if to 28mm scale but looks like something straight out of the table :P

This thread is not dead. It was merely resting.

I have painted up some reinforcements to my force.

Some skirmishers.

Some spearmen and a swordsman.

This brings my total up to this.

I really need to break my slump and bust my own project back out. This is a very inspirational thread!

Also I build some more scenery. It might be a bit generic and probably not historically accurate but for me it works.

It would really help if you added some strips of cardboard to the top or the wall or just sanded it a bit to make the edges less sharp.

I actually looked up Greek architecture and it appears that the Greeks do build with sharp corners.

At least on the first page of Google.

To keep this project alive I am carrying on with some terrain building. This time a rocky outcrop.
