Finished the Statue Fort (basically). I am really pleased with how this turned out as a first attempt. I used the PVA, paint, baking soda mix for the snow. As it dried it left behind a faint white residue which I might touch up, but for tabletop quality I am very happy.

Things to learn in the future:
1. Moisture is BAD!
2. Don't basecoat with black. I wish I had used a dark brown or grey for the ground.

I also need to brainstorm some stuff to add contrast/colour. All in, I  think this piece cost me less than 10 quid, maybe less than 5 but I can't remember what the statue cost.

Lots more pictures of the same here: http://theironsoldier.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/statue-fort-part-four.html

The fort/statue is fantastic! It has a lot of potential for post apocalyptic or other such gaming. Really impressive and imaginative bit of terrain making.
Thanks for sharing

It is amazing. I really love the jenga idea - and the statue thing, really ads the mysticism that Frostgraves need. I found a cardboard ring, and made a Stargate like thing. I want more of the stuff that aren't just buildings... but there is so much to make for Frostgrave.
