Hey guys, have any of you used thick/pink/blue insulation board sheets as a gaming "table" or surface?
Right now I have two 2x4 sized folding tables pushed together to make a 4 x 4 surface. I would like to get up to 4x6, but can't find a third table that is the same (identical height etc) and don't really love having that many seams between them all.
I was thinking of just getting a 4x6 sheet (cut a larger one down) from Home Depot, to lay on top. Then I could lay a FAT mat on top of it as the game surface.
The challenge I see there is the foam sheet would likely want to move around on top of the plastic tables (both being smooth surfaces) which could be annoying and/or disastrous during a game
Any thoughts or experiences with what works or other ideas to consider?
Durability isn't a big issue because the sheets are cheap and I'm not going to paint/flock/texture the actual sheet so I don't mind replacing it from time to time if it even becomes necessary. Really my main concern is keeping it in place.
