Painting an Avenger Strike Fighter finished 18.2.16
« on: February 09, 2016, 04:32:31 PM »
I started airbrushing an Avenger from Forgeworld for my son. He hates airbrushing.
Here is a picture of the model:

Next step will be applying all the markings by airbrush then some filters etc
You can follow the process on www.wargamesgazette.com

Nice. But I have to ask, how was the casting? The last models I bought from Forgeworld were a mess, with several warped pieces.

He hates airbrushing.

How strange! I LOVE airbrushing, as long as someone is doing it for me. May I call you daddy?  lol

The model was OK no warping. But he has it for quite a wile now . I think it sat on the shelf for more then a year.
Yeah call me Daddy when it comes to airbrushing ;D
Here is the progress from last evening . Masking of the areas which have to be in another color and airbrushing in the color . Unmasking today planned

For a moment there, I thought it was an "Avenger's Strike Fighter". As in, the Superhero team.

In fact, it still might be, judging by the colour scheme...

Yeah call me Daddy when it comes to airbrushing ;D

Shouldn't he be calling you Daddy even when you're not airbrushing?  ???

I believe the point is that I shall call you 'Daddy' AFTER you've airbrushed for ME.  lol

Looking good.  I've never much cared for the silly Imperial designs for aircraft but you've done that one right.
