Brilliant! I was trying to be a stealth spam then instead of thread derailer  I'll pick up a copy when it's out and see if I can get some good deals/gangs made out of my ladies. Next Kickstarter is out in a couple of weeks too with 14 more, so there'll be plenty to choose from!

Got it. Feels over detailed, not my cup of tea. The same happened to me with Rogue Stars and many others. Too many special rules for every model; maybe I'm just too old for this, I'd like to be concentrating more on the game, the models and their role than to the many special effects.

Are you more of an army gamer and not a man-to-man skirmish gamer? Just curious.

Actually I really like the skirmish experience, but I prefer games where I can create my Warband in a few minutes and have to deal with 5/6 special rules. Anyway this is really only a personal taste. Scrappers is well written, beautifully produced and has a really strong bg.

One thing you could try is reducing all traits by one, choose only one trait for vets and 0 for regular troops. You will have to worry about 3-4 traits by warband and that is it.

When we do historical BoB sometimes our warbands are pretty standard and the game is still very enjoyable.. don't think you need to use all the traits.
We usually have one player create two fluffy warbands and fight the same game twice switching sides in 4-5 hs

just my two cents since you already have the rules, I think you will still like it using the rules like that.
