Paston  Household at Avoncroft. Weekend of making linen cover for cooking tent - as per Schilling Chronicles- hours of sewing in medieval house with no glazing and plenty of gaps in the timbers!

Sounds very interesting if a little on the chilly side!  :)

This is what happens when you don't re-daub walls and replace the horn or 'forest glass' panels in windows over a century or two.  ::)

Did some WotR era reenacting meself back in the day. Strangely, though here in balmy California. We did seem to find the coldest, rainiest weekends in which to camp...

Great to see you applying your talents to the 100 Years War, will be fascinated to see the results.

If it helps, I've got a copy of 'A European  Armorial'. This is based on a copy of a 15th C manuscript, MS4790 in the Bibliotheque de L'Arsenal, and has amongst quite a few others, about 60 coats of arms of the Artois lords ( including de Crequy). If there's anyone you're having trouble finding let me know and perhaps I can find them in there.

Here's my take on the Perry Agincourt French Knights plastic set, or rather, a sprue thereof.

This began as a distraction project to get me out of a painting rut which indeed it did so thanks Simon, back to the Renaissance for me now.

Apart from de Crequy and a purple chap the remaining 4 have heraldry as shown on the flag sheet included in the box.

Thanks for looking

Nearly forgot the whole point of these, doh!

These will form part of Simon's French for the Agincourt game which will be put on at the Leeds Armouries RAGE event at the armouries on 23rd April. Come along and you can see Simon, me, several beautiful demo and participation games, talks by the Perry's and David Marshall (who made the terrain), the re-housed Agincourt diorama AND a load of armour - what more could you ever want or need in life ?
