The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.

That's really good. You must look at everything through 'scratchbuilding lenses'! Great work  :)

:-* I am impressed with how you can turn average scraps into a great terrain piece. Nice work using the cardboard to represent the wooden tank.

It certainly looks like it fits in. So thanks for inspiring me to look for other useful cheap materials.

Cheers
Matt

Nicely done and it looks the part. I like your simple counterweight valve. Your conversions of materials is very ingenious and had I been working in 25mm I would have used them without hesitation. My only minor criticisms (constructive I hope) is that there ought to be a pipe and a turn valve for pumping water/supplying the top reservoir. The main supports ought to be directly underneath the main weight of water. This was my attempt in 15mm -  you can see the substantial support struts under the large reservoir. Other examples I've seen in old photos use a log stack plinth very similar to the style employed in making log cabins.

Awesome, and so simple I just might be able to make one lol
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
