1672 & all that....
« on: February 16, 2016, 05:08:11 PM »
Since we started stocking the range at shows thought I should slap some paint on a few*

*Actually, loved the range since Mark copplestone bought them out, just could never justify getting them  :'(

Great stuff. Love the figures. It's a shame he didn't continue the range.

Verra verra tasty Dags.

I loved the original Copplestone range. But I also rather liked Steve Saleh's 'in the style of' additions to round the range out...

So including Footsore, that's TWO ranges of figures I like that Ainsty are now carrying at shows... Are you carrying all North Star stuff, or just selected lines?

Carry on like this, you'll need a Dave Thomas sized stand ;)

Brilliant work!! We need more of this period on this site...

I also love this range. If the Canadian$ wasn't tanking at the moment I'd have some myself.

Lovely work. I must finish mine. Mark didn't finish the range but Northstar have expanded it with suitably matched figures. One of my all time favourite ranges and fave periods one where you can literally field the whole British (well English and Scots) army/ armies if you wish.

I love your regiment. Wasn't aware of this range.

Although I am bit confused, shouldn't this be in Pikes, muskets and flouncy shirts board ?
All that pikes muskets and flouncy shirts :)

It's borderline I'd say - definitely pikes and flouncy shirts, but also representing the start of the age of big battalions. We won't get too picky about these crossover points... The board divisions are more to do with genre than strict historical period.  :)

Have always wanted to do Tangiers ,perfect figures for that.

I was also thinking about using them for Portuguese Tangiers and Mazagan. It would be interesting to build a 17th caparisoned cavalry...
