[COMMERCIAL] NonSenseminiatures new Fantasy Hoplites
« on: February 12, 2016, 12:07:04 PM »
Hi

In www.nonsenseminiatures.com, we arrived an arrangement with Stravos Zouliatis, and we will begin to produce a fantasy line 32mm high. We will begin with these hoplites, and later a Gorgon....

I accept new ideas to produce more monsters or fantasy warriors.

Best regards to all

Are they muscular women or men who need to do some push-ups? Strange breasts, weedy arms...

I think the proportions are more or less right, but that the poses are no good. Unless the aim is to only sell single figures to painters?

I can"t say that I'm a fan of these figures.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

I think they are really good. Can't wait to see the Gorgon. I worry about the spears though. Resin would snap easily and pewter would bend all the time.

Hi to all

Thank you for your opinions, I like to hear good and bad feelings. My initial intention with www.nonsenseminiatures.com, was producing modern polices, gangs... and some WW2 germans, but looking at Facebook I find Stravos, the sculptor. He didn't know to produce himself or sell the initial miniatures.
We made an arrangement to produce a ''fantasy'' line inspired in ancient mythology.
The size 32mm I think is good to produce high quality miniatures for painters and player.
Allow me this joke  '' size matters''. I painted some 28, but now I'm used to 32 and even 35mm, and the details are much bigger.

About the poses, they will be used in skirmish games, the 32mm size is quite different from other companies, so they will not fit well with other big unit historical miniatures. With the existing plastic kits that are perfect for units, I don't think I would sell them as ''unit'' miniatures.

Maybe I'm making an error producing some lines like the gangs, and polices or even the ww2...or these ones.  I don't know, but I want to try with 32mm (fantasy), more than 28mm (historical).
The ww2 are 28mm I know what is my target market there
