Unless I am much mistaken, Darrell used one of the flagsheets produced as a joint venture by Iron Duke and Flags of War :

Beautiful job on the Blue Caps, Darrell -- and thanks for posting that info and link to Tablescape!  I don't think I knew anything about them until now.  That is a very nice Midddle-East/North African City Wall system they have, and the buildings and standard walls in the same range look good as well.

Sorry not to get back to you before now- busy, busy.....

Yep, they are from the range that Iain (Flags of War) designed for the Iron Duke Indian Mutiny range:

I have to say that they are superb quality- some of the best I've handled if you'll excuse the expression! :)

More pics of the mini's up close ASAP :)

Cheers,
Darrell.

Nice work on those minis Darrell,I have the set of those flags and they are very nice indeed. Also like the look of the Tablescape scenery,it seems perfect for use in Mutiny games. As you know I'm a big fan of this Iron Duke range and have all the Brits, however ,I'm anticipating a lot of repair work on my Standard bearer minis after games as the "heroic" one handed grip on the Standard poles is an accident waiting to happen. They look cool though. :)

I was tempted to base them on stands to try and reduce any damage but in the end to really play the mutiny you have to be flexible and have the option for skirmish games so I bit the bullet and bought some 18mm washers as shown on the Iron Duke site.

I also ordered some of the custom bases from Warbases- which reminds me, I need to order more! :)

Darrell.

Yep, I'm hoping to get a sneak peek at the WorLard (Geordie pun ;) ) day at the Durham club this April.

Here's a selection of close ups of the mini's that I've painted thus far (I know, not too many!).

You can read about how they were painted as well as seeing many 360 degree pics (or sorts) on my Just Add Water blog here:

In the meantime here are some pics to hopefully whet your appetitie:

Cheers,
Darrell.

Thanks Iain, after a lot of experimentation I went with the Andrea White set for the 'whites' ; roughly four pots excluding the base coat and finally VMC Ivory.

I'm really happy with the subtle results :)
