Wolsung Giant Golem
« on: February 22, 2016, 04:33:29 PM »
I wonder if anyone has any information as to how big / good / easy to build this giant is? I'm thinking of taking the plunge and getting the kit but would appreciate feedback from anyone who has seen it in the flesh or has bought one themself.

Cheers in advance.

Doesn't look too difficult to me... Just a couple of parts.

Looks nice, though apart from the head it looks decidedly BattleTechy.

I have more issues with the 'Popeye forearms with Olive Oyl uppers...'  ;)

Those ARE guns, right?

At least, my Kollossus would have had upper arms the equal of the lowers.

It's BIG.

It's very simple to build though.

Actually, they aren't cannons. They are the joint for hands. I believe you select from a number of options. Micro Art Studio are all modellers by nature, so they've designed it to be easy to magnetise. :)

Golem looks a bit too modern for "VSF" to me, if I were going to put my hard earned down for a VSF giant I'd look at Bismatron, not quite as big but looks much more "VSF" for me...it's only 24 Euros too. Its currently out of stock at the moment though!

PS I have no financial stake in TOBSEN77 products, I've bought from him though!
