Masai! (I+II+III)...update 8MAR16...March is Masai month!
« on: February 24, 2016, 08:32:04 AM »
Gents,

I’m beginning a series of posts on my latest army…the Masai!

The first post gives a bit of blurb on the feel for the army itself and some background before getting into the painting and minis etc…so that’ll come!

For now, check out the Masai, those most enigmatic lords of the steppe!…

Cheers

Enough talk, time to get some lead painted.

Here is part III of my Masai force project.

Hope there are some useful tips in there and a bit of eye candy  ;)

Dr and Saucy,

Glad you liked it and thanks for saying so...the life blood of all blogs is a little comment here and there...the next installment shall bring a complete new twist to gaming in Darkest Africa...blending some old and new into something that I think hits the spot ;) ;)

...at least as far as I am concerned.

Cheers

March is Masai madness month so we have some more men from the steppe for your viewing pleasure. Just finished another 20 with some samples of the elMoran here and on the blog.

Hope you enjoy...

They are quite lovely, some of Copplestones finest sculpts I think. :)

The long grass is effective as well.

Keep em coming ;D

They are indeed amongst Mark's loveliest sculpts...thanks for the comment (and on the grass). For some weird reason I can't get my head around whether that grass works or not. It's stupidly easy to get on table but think its maybe 'not quite right'.

Anyway, the Masai look the business....particularly pleased with these ones... :)
