In fact, a solvent for paints "Tamiya" - isopropyl alcohol. But this is a big bottle of 250 ml. For my needs it pretty much besides he quickly evaporates. This solvent is good for working with the airbrush. Is an experimental way - was found variant diluting of paints a dilute vodka (or alcohol). In this case, the paint dries more slowly and does not lose its properties.

This is very interesting....I use Vallejo Airbrush thinner with my paint because water breaks down the paint too much...but...like you say it can evaporate quickly...I will try your technique....if it does not work for me with paint it is always vodka
