Salute 2016
« on: February 26, 2016, 10:28:52 AM »
So, Salute 2016 approaches.

We have our passes and have been placed pretty much where we were last year (GF17). However, Forgeworld are far, far away so we won't be blighted by their queue again.

Although our primary aim is to launch Blood Eagle at the show, we shall also have an IHMN Gothic board to keep with the overall Salute 2016 theme of Steampunk.

So looking forwards to this and to meeting many of you again  :D

How many of you are coming, trading or displaying at the show?

COGS will be at GL15 with a newly modified fast-play IHMN playing over two 4' boards. If space and time allows, we will have representative demi-companies from nearly all the faction lists on display...

I highly recommend the games put on by Tehet and his chums. So make sure you drop by and cheer him on, even if you don't have time to play.

I AM impressed; I whine about the drive to Indianapolis.

Keeping my record only playing in-country string intact.  Not likely to see that string broken.  Enjoy!

There is no such place. I have friends in Kitchener who say it is all made up ;)

Close, I was born in London, England but now reside just outside London, Ontario (I must like the name - London!)

As for Kitchener - it used to be called 'Berlin' but was renamed 'Kitchener' in 1916 when the locals had a rethink   :D

Ah, so the cross-briny was a bit of 'return home waters to spawn', with a bit of gaming on the side?  lol
