Upcoming Pirate range from Black Tree Design
« on: December 15, 2008, 09:49:17 AM »
I've been emailing with Flis Wojtek about his upcoming pirate miniatures range for Black Tree Design.

You can see photos of his excellent sculpts on my tabletop blog.

If you like them, please leave a message or bugger john at BTD about releasing them sooner.  :D

Not sure thats the best use of the word "bugger" :o

lovely looking figures though, some nice characters. I like the chap sitting on the barrel.

It would certainly get his attention, though.  lol

Some interesting sculpts there. Bit fanciful but my favorite is the guy carrying the treasure chest.

It is in keeping with that nautical tradition of rum sodomy and the lash ;)

I do like some of them which would be good for other 18th Century fare but my one reservation is the service from BTD :(

There are issues that some other LAFers have had with service from BTD. Elsewhere on the forum there are a few threads detailing the events, lots of people waiting months to receive orders etc and lack of communication from BTD. I have never had a problem with them myself, but it seems to be a common occurence.

They're not quite correct yet though.  :P

However, I'm sure you did your best in the short order, as you always do moderating this most magnificent forum on LAF.

They look nice.  I like the kid swabbing the decks

Great stuff, Cianty!  Those look really nice.  Is that your ship posted on your blog?  BTW, I am Goomb from Da Warpath, Terragenesis and Tom's.  I found this site from your post on Tom's actually.

Anyway, great stuff.  These would look great on my fleet! The older gent sitting on the barrel is particularly nice, as is the treasure chest.  Would be a great objective in a game.
