Cup of Brown Joy
« on: December 15, 2008, 04:33:16 PM »
Not sure if this has been posted before, but did make me laugh:

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

 o_o :o ???

Ooookay...

So, what did the script for that video read - "1. MC mentions tea - hilarity ensues; 2. repeat 1."

Nutty. But I know from my misspent youth in the 1990s that you British have quite a penchant for "novelty songs", donīt you.

80 cups of Earl Gray a day sounds great, but damn. That's a lot of bathroom breaks.

Love it.  lol

It makes a change to hear a novelty song done quite so well.

And I heartily endorse the sentiments of the writers. Tea. British tea. Grown on the Cotswolds by gentleman farmers and jolly bucolic yokels. And buxom, pink cheeked wenches.

Off to make a cuppa now!  :D

Ale and Tea are what make Britain Great, Ill have you know. Disparage those mighty drinks and is an affront to dignity itself! You rascal, I ought to thrash you for your impudence!

You are of course absolutely correct. I think as Gluteus has suggested I've been around Prussians far too long. Must get back to painting the defenders of dear Old Blighty. :)
