Any pictures of West Wind SOTR06 Zombie Heads?
« on: December 16, 2008, 08:20:24 PM »
Does anyone happen to have pictures of the West Wind zombie heads? The ones without the helmet SHS-SOTR06 Zombie Heads. I haven't noticed any pictures of them in the various posts on this forum. Thanks.

They are the same ones as in the zombie packs, so if you look at pics of those, you'll see the heads.

That works. Thanks WK.

Has anyone tried to use the zombie heads on American, British or Russian troops? I just like the idea of Germans using allied zombies and the What The?! miniatures are bigger than I would like. I am waiting to see what size the Incursion figures are. But I have been thinking of possible conversion options.

I've never tried it, but the bare heads are fairly generic so should fit ok. They have a nice little peg on the bottom so you just have to drill a hole at the neck of the other figure and pop them in.

I did use one of the heads for my Zombie Hitler conversion:

And that was a Black Tree figure, so the sizes are pretty compatible with them and probably Foundry and Artizan too.

I think they will work on most 28mm figures.
I used one of the 'living' bare heads on the pilot of one of my US mak's, worked well enough. The zombie heads are pretty generic.

Would anyone happen to have recommendations about what lines these heads would work with? I'm looking at Japanese and Italian type bodies for them specifically.

Should work with most lines. I'm a bit hesitant about Japanese, given that most lines, like TAG maker them a bit smaller than other 28mm troops. This being said, I've used a spare head from the spyglass (now Brigade Games) zombies on a TAG japanese mini with good results and they are about the same size as the westwind heads.
