I said it before....  :-*

Was the main body entirely scratched from plasticcard or based on something else?

I used my now-usual method of building a "core" of balsa wood bulkheads and spars, then covering it in a sheet of thicker plasticard, sanding that a bit, then adding a second, more detailed layer of plasticard on that. The balsa is easier to work than pure plasticard, and is rather stable if well-glued.

I then used Revell modelling putty for the hood top (vicious stuff, but I had it lying around). Some steel washers make those very regular circular items (air intakes, sensor ball mounts).

I just finished a replacement for the gun, though - now Iīve got a neat little three-barrel assembly that looks better. Will paint it next along with the flying base. Pics this evening (CET).

As promised, some more pics, including first work-in-progress shots of some infantry models.

Vertibird with Future Wars figure sculpted by Mark Copplestone:

Including flying base:

Rockers and a Mutant, plus a lone wanderer:

Finally, Evil Fascist Governmentīs Henchmen(TM):

All unfinished to various degrees. Obviously, the bases need finishing, and the rockers and NBC guys will receive a coat of varnish tomorrow.

Dogmeat indeed! Nice vertibird, there is rather noticeable differences though ;D. Size-wise it's perfect otherwise. Can't wait to see more of your project!

This might work for rules., really for Pen and paper, but the system should be easy to port for minis :)

Ah nice to see Fallout stuff!

Really nice figures and good paintjobs. I think the EM4 ones get into every P.A. collection these days.. mine too!  :D

I played a game of Wasteland Chronicles yesterday.. that's also Post Apocalyptic - I'll post pictures later.

Once again stunning work Chris.

There are some minis rules for Fallout made by the fallout people.

They are on the 3 disk set that is going for @ $20aud at the moment.

Having glanced at them they dont seem too bad. (a passel of stats ala GW games for the figures but the rules seem quite streamlined)

Also come with lots of printable stand up counters that are awsome for front/back guides to get any conversions looking authentic. There is also a nice set of top down vehicle templates.

I'm sure you could also download em from somewhere long long ago that might still exist in some long forgotten corner of the interweb. If you cant find em on the web PM me if you are mad keen to have a look and I can email em to you. (very slowly)

Thanks, I got a Fallout Miniatures Wargame in PDF form (the rest of the downloads seemed to be paper miniatures, so I skipped on those) that looks rather nice. I guess Iīll try the various rules Iīve got lying around, presumably LOTOW for ease of play.
