I love this topic. So many cool conversions and good ideas. Several years ago, I needed some small alien chracters for the Star Wars RPG, so I converted a Reaper Bones kobold and a WotC D&D goblin into sci-fi minis. Then a few years later, I heard about Stargrave, so I began converting more of my collection into possible crew or opposition forces. I even made almost the entire bestiary from the core Stargrave book.

These are some WtoC D&D monsters and a couple of Reaper metal minis (Werner Klocke elves) that I added some WH40K weapons to.

Those look great! I'm going to shamelessly steal that idea for the Reaper lizardman - I have a few spares of him somewhere.

Here's the beginning of the conversions for those early Reaper Bones lizardmen. I did end up re-basing the one with the cyber-arm. The others as time allows. I intended them to be Vesk for Starfinder (before there were any official Starfinder minis).

Nice work and do I spy an arm from a Kryomek Talos on one of your wee beasties?

I know what you mean. Fortunately I picked up a box of Mantic Veermyn recently, otherwise I'd be heading down the same road

These look fantastic, and make me all nostalgic for the heady days of getting the plastic Warhammer Regiments box and jamming bolters and pouches on them and saying "look, it's in space now!"

Obviously these are much better than my childish creations... lol

Your conversions are amazing. I still struggle with that aspect...

pish-posh to that, I bet they were amazing and sadly what I feel a lot of current 40K and other gaming is sadly missing nowadays.
But not on this forum obviously  ;) :D

Keep up the good work
