I wanted to announce the release of my new rules set "Vows of Iron" which are now available for sale.  The rules focus on the melee and are designed for large battles.   I have included a link to the website with details.

Thanks for looking!

I'd like to say that I bought these rules and am very glad that I did.  This is a well thought out and well written set of rules.  They play really fast too.  The quantity of modifiers is minimal so combat can be resolved quickly, about as quickly as DBA in my opinion.  A unit can be represented on the table by as little as one base if you wish, so you don't have to spend half of your life painting up figures to play the game.  It comes with approx. a dozen army lists (Feudal English & French, Crusaders and Saracens, WOTR, etc.) and Allen plans to post more to the website in the future.  The provided army lists provide stats for just about any unit type that you would want to field in the time period covered though.  I have no financial interest in this rules set.  I'd just like to see more gamers enjoying it.  Thanks.

Hmmm... maybe I should consider it.

Could be a nice Stepping stone for Building medieval armies, as I like to switch between Projects, and I could construct a unit by painting a few models and place them on a common base/tray and get it fielded...
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
