Cool!
How often do you use gangs in your Pulp Alley Leagues?

There's a gang in around 50% of the games we play.  For some reason it's like they have targets on them.  They get mowed down first.  I think it just looks cinematic  to take apart a gang with a single character:)

Great report!  Thanks for sharing, I am trying to follow in your (and many others) footsteps on the comic style reports.  I really enjoy reading these.

On gangs.  I might start a separate thread on them.  I have used them in three games running.  They are very brittle, but add a lot of visual gravitas to the game.  We are currently using a League with "Company of Heroes", and the other with "Call to Arms", mainly to create very different opponents.  Hordes of troops appeals to my sense of Soviet tactics in any case, and our games are currently set in 1920's Russia.

Looking forward to your next Bat-Rep, Gary!

Matt

Exactly so.

In many ways, Gangs are designed to be equal to an Ally. Although they many look more impressive - they really aren't.  ;)

If you are one of those players that always passes your Health/Recovery checks, then an Ally may be better. If you are like me and always fail your checks, then a Gang may actually last longer.

Remember - a single hit has the potential to take an Ally out of play - but it will not KO a Gang.

HAVE FUN
