Zulu War British Auxiliary Cavalry dismounted
« on: March 27, 2016, 07:58:31 PM »
Hi all

Finished the lovely Empress Miniatures dismounted auxiliary and volunteer cavalry to go alongside the converted Perry ACW plastics I used for their mounted versions.

Hope you like them. More pics of the various units over at the Woolshed.  They got their first taste of action in a big battle held over Easter - report to come.

Cheers

Great stuff.

Do you think that the Empress Zulu War Brits in kneeling firing poses would fit on 18mm washers? I ask as I like a tighter formation for the infantry and would get the sabot bases custom made.

Darrell.

It might be a squeeze to be honest. I have seen them based on 20mm rounds so they may fit with a bit of luck.

Thanks Brian  :).

I might have to do some experimenting  :) :
