Wheatfield looks like a piece of "welcome" mat for your front (or back) door.  I have a lot of wheatfields like that cut up from a doormat.  It smelled really bad for a while because of the chemicals on the straw, but I think it's bearable now.

Yes, I use it too. However if you paint / texture / flock the base it's better as the plastic color is not very natural (medium grey for mine).

A dry brushing with of the "wheat" could be nice too!

Sgt Perry - I like your bushes.  How did you make them?

It's a vineyard from Heki (HO scale).

However, I think that it should be quite easy to do the same with an electric wire. A 2 or 2.5 cm long wire with a sandlestick shape

You paint it dark brown, then you highlight it. Once dry you cover it with PVA Glue and then you pour a light green leaf or scatter material .

@ SgtPerry: I like the way you have cut the mat in that pic. It makes the field look like it's a kind of crop that must be tended to a lot by myriads of tool-armed chinese peasants.... I see a lynch-mob forming to catch the poor aviator (with female sidekick/employer?) who crash-landed his bi-plane in that field, too  :D

Hi,

May I ask, where did you get the US Navy figures from?

Thanks.

Great looking game, excellent scenery and minis too.

The TENTS, I thought were from Magister millitum ( think thats how you spell it) but after digging mine out they are different. similar though.

Cheers
