A new range of 28mm miniature for Naran's armies
« on: April 01, 2016, 04:10:54 PM »
The Naran Team Torino is very pleased to announce that today we signed a cooperation agreement with the company SHARKNOR MINIATURES of Inverness (Scotland), under which this company will produce a series of 28 mm scale miniatures, drawn by Naran’s armies.
The first three armies that will soon be offered for sale are:
- Elves of Lemuria (old style Egypt)
         - Black Elves of Aztland (in Aztec style)
         - Lost Army of Cambyses (undead with armor and robes in Persian style)

For more information, see the following page on our website:

Hello,
sorry, we joked.
But jokes aside, it would be nice if some company will put into production some miniatures for the three armies that we have indicated.
For Lemur Elves (Lemuria) and Black Elves of Aztland (Atlantis) we had already made them the Armies list, even in the absence of specific miniatures. For the first you might be using the Men - ASAR – from the Crocodile of Wargods series. Being them of 28 mm "pumped" (30 mm?), they can pass as "Elves". The problem of the lack of pointed ears is overcome by the fact that the majority have the typical Egyptian headdress that covers the ears to them. We had thought that the Lemurs were using as mounts lions, and for these we thought the GW to supply them (High Elves war chariot). It need, however, take into account to also purchase the GW war chariot (Higth Elves), for the lions from the yoke of the Crocodile one.
For the Black Elves, however, the only currently available miniatures we think are the witches of the Dark Elves GW, which unlike the other warriors of the series, they are almost naked, covered only by a tiny bikini in the fantasy version. We need the miniatures for males, in Aztec style. We trust that the Crocodile (or maybe someone else) the face. Crocodile at the moment is making the Greeks and the Trojans. We hope they do follow even Atlantis.
Finally, the lost Undead Army of  Cambyses: the idea came to us by reading the definition given to one of Undead Mammouth in the Fantasy Warriors Companion by Nick Lund: "Imperial war mammoth". The reference to an "Empire" is reminiscent of the Persian Empire, who used elephants or if you prefer to Haradrim (aka Southrons - Southrons in Italian) of the Lord of the Rings. So we linked with the the lost persian army, disappeared in the sands of the Egyptian desert in in 524 BC, during the military occupation of ancient Egypt led by Cambyses II, as Herodotus reports. So this army would be needed for new Undead wearing helmets, shields, clothing, helmets in the style of the Achaemenid Persians, as well as to differentiate those of a medieval European Mirliton-Grenadier and Mantic, as well as those of GW Egyptians Undead (Kemry).

For Lemurs Elves and Elves Aztland Blacks, these are the  links to the pages of our site:
(Sorry, the text is in Italian only)
