28mm Icicles for Terrain
« on: May 12, 2016, 09:11:03 AM »
I decided I needed some iccicles on my Frostgrave ruins, and while you can make them from clear sprue, these are pretty nice and more complex than what I could easily craft.

Incidentally, this company makes lots of nice detail and terrain pieces.

I also ordered some of these 50mm bases for the Teleport Discs in The Keep.

Ooh, those are nice. A bit pricey for doing a whole table with, though I suppose someone's came up with a way of making some at home.

I like their potion sets, actually I think I looked at them ages ago, but eugh, the price. Hmn, I suppose they'd be easy enough to a mold of. ;)

An easier option for them is to find some of the clear plastic forks, sporks, and/or combs and just clip the tips of them.

Yeah, but they really don't look as good.  You could spend some time messing around and making really nice icicles, or you could spend a little and get on with it.

These are 6.5 euros a sprue, and two is about all you'd need for a 3x3 or 4x4 ruins layout.

I mean, how many spots do you have on your terrain where you could stick an icicle?

But to each his own.  I posted this info in case anyone else was looking.
