I like that; very effective use of washes on the wings.

Thanks, it's fun to do ghoulish slimy evil things; particularly when you're a dip-aholic such as myself.  As usual it settled a bit too much in a few areas, but for something which took about 20 minutes to paint, I can't complain.

1) Prime
2) Paint loincloth and wings, eyes, and some bone spurs.
3) Mix red w/ sepia tone and splash/flick gore
4) Dip (well in this case applied with a brush because it doesn't fit in the can!)
5) Paint and finish base.

Fun to paint stuff like this on occasion, a massively stark contrast to the clean and crisp Eldar stuff.

In my un-ending quest for war walkers I don't hate...I made these two using remnants from two of my previous war walkers I painted (yep, I've gone through...three iterations so far).

Robotech parts were used in the making of this film.





I also did another Vyper I'm not exactly stoked about.

The revised war walkers work quite well. Personally I like them better than an Eldar hanging off the front.

Loved the conversion article on your blog!  The rhino-russ has a fine looking silhouette.  The eldar walker conversion here looked great too.

Really like the Rhino-Russ more.
I always like to see conversions to the basic vehicles like apc's and tanks, and this is a two-for.

Thanks guys.  While doing my third Rhino-Russ I chose to build a proper gunbox for the Vindicator so it would stand apart more on the table...check it out. (more on the blog as always)
