Galloping Major Mohawk
« on: April 27, 2016, 07:39:55 PM »
A seven figure unit for M&T painted using the instructions on the Galloping Major site. Just the basing to do and they are finished. Black face paint, blue tattoos and subdued colours over some first rate sculpts.

They're a mean looking bunch!

Excellent stuff, I especially like the two on the left, including the chap with the black face, very menacing. ;D

Great looking figures. Do you mind sharing which paints you used for the skin tones as I have a few to paint myself.

Hi Matt,
The skin tones were painted using the following colours.
First coat, GW Mournfang brown.
Second, third and fourth coat, was Foundry triad 120 a,b and c Native American skin tone.
Final highlight was Foundry triad 120c mixed with white.

And then after five coats, you paint most of the detail out on the faces with black war paint lol.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Ha, ha...I've felt the same thing after getting the various colors put on. That is one reason I don't often do the full body warpaint...or that I keep it relatively toned down.
