W.W. 2 Hungarian Cap plumes/feathers
« on: May 06, 2016, 02:48:47 AM »
Gents,

So 'Mad Bob Murchison' (I think that's his name) talked me into using the Perry Afrika Korps figures as a basis for W.W.2 Hungarians.
And then cautioned me that the equipment was 'all wrong.'

That being said, the figures in riding britches and tall boots are a nice match for the various Mountain Inf. and Gendarmerie types.
And in 28mm you can't really tell the difference between the Afrika Korps peaked cap, and the 'Hungarian Style' peaked cap.
However, most of the Hungarian types seem to have various varieties of feathers on the left side of the cap.

Any suggestions for a fast, and easy, way to recreate this?
Or is everyone going to suggest that I stick on some kind of putty, and just sculpt the feathers ?

Thanks in Advance,
MW
