This one looks tempting; I like the thought of the scenario design/campaign rules flowchart idea they mention in the demo. Even if we wind up not using LTL for the actual games, a set of linked campaign/scenario rules can be used with other character/combat rules...

I think I've seen this idea before. I think the general concept behind .45 Adventures is not very different, but THW rules seem to be less detailed and faster-playing for me. I tend to prefer .45 for smaller games and LTL may be my choice for larger ones.

Still haven't ordered yet...

Think I'll stick with Astounding Tales and .45 Adventure ~ Credit Crunch's fault!

Both of those rules sets are really nice. I have them too, but I am interested in what I have seen of the scenario design/flowchart system for LTL.

Yup.  This should be a great alternative to Astounding Tales 2.  I love AT2, but the THW rules usually are very fast and easy to pick up.  Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Ordered mine yesterday...

Ed's THW stuff is usually especialy good for the campaign rules and little add-on material, which make sit worth buying even if you plan on using other rules for the core mechanics.

Of course, since pulp games are all single figure based systems, you can play more than one set of rules without any of that rebasing nonsense!
