Dad's Army - Rules or stats?

Does anybody know about rules or some stats ideas for Dad's Army characters?
I could'nt find anything on the web...
I thought it might be nice to use 45 or some modified LotoW rules!?
They need to be not to much of fighting unit but have some special abilities to survive.
Well it's a comedy after all
So it should all be more of a fun scenario...hm any ideas or links anyone?

There was a Dad's Army v the Daleks article in Wargames Illustrated a while back and stats for .45 were available for download at one time, so may still be there. I would also suggest Astounding Tales would make for a fun game. We've also used 'We can be Heroes' too for the games here in GHQ.
