Innsmouth Harbor Board - Fenris Games Deep Ones
« on: May 15, 2016, 12:22:40 PM »
I've been wantng to paint these Fenris deep ones since they first came out a few years ago. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be selling the full range of them nowadays. There were several I couldn't see on their website. Anyway, the LPL's 'creatures' themed round gave me a great opportunity  :)

Astute observers of LPL matters may have recognised my German harbour side from an earlier LPL, now re-purposed for Innsmouth  :)

The signs are just made up in PowerPoint, (or in the case of the old advertising posters, found on the web), printed out, and then painted and weathered by hand.

That's wonderful!  This is the reason why we game!

I love the brickwork, does it come in a sheet?

Yes, it's pressed Styrofoam board... Not sure you can get it any more. Good stuff  :)

Excellent.  Fishy-types, IMHO best painted versions I've seen since the original display set.  (Think "Duff" painted those.)

Thanks Malcolm. Yes, Duff worked his magic on the original set. I'm afraid mine aren't quite up to his standard. Those were real works of art  :)

Oh yeah, I remember that one, Season One  :-* Still bloody nice, Richard!

But the Innsmouth one is yet better, probably your best in this season, Richard and I'm glad I didn't have to encounter this one  8)

Blimey, Guvnor!
 :o :o :o

So, there is a history of Occult activity in your murky past, Captain.
What other secrets lurk in the early years of the LPL??
 >:D >:D

As for my ignorance: In my defence, I am far too young to know anything about something that happened so long ago.
 :D

Haha!
Many dark secrets Paolo  ;)

Thanks Alex, but I don't think any of my team would have got the better of yours in this LPL  :)
