Very nice work! Though I just noticed the duck on the front guy's base, what an adorable lil' guy

So after a little bit of worry, my Perry Agincourt knights turned up. I may have bothered the Perrys about delivery for no reason, just didn't get a shipping notice.

Either way, I've set about making another unit of Northern heavy cavalry. These will be House Stark household heavy cavalry, so knights, minor nobles and well equiped retainers from Winterfell. This way I will have a unit of 10 White Harbor knights and a unit of 10 Winterfell heavy cavalry. These don't get barding as the northern houses don't really care for southern knightly fashions.

These first two are almost straight builds from the Perry box, righty has arms from the Light Cavalry set:

And the left one here has a Conquest head frankensteined onto a Perry body. Captain Blood of course came up with the idea to trim Perry heads down to the gorget to get a bare head onto the 100YW bodies. The other is a straight build, but I put plate arms onto the gambesson body to make a heavily armoured freerider or soldier.

These two are a little more involved. I cut the legs from Fireforge bodies, and took the greaves of two Perry legs to make greaved and surcoated bodies. Works decently in my opinion. The one on the right has arms from Perry WotR Light Cavalry. Lefty has a cloak from the Frostgrave female soldiers and Perry 100YW arms.

Lefty here is simply a Fireforge body with Perry arms. Right is a light cavalry body with 100YW arms and Fireforge head and cloak.

What do you guys think about these?

These are some good builds! How do you find the greathelms fit on the Perry bodies by the way?

Takes some work. The 100YW bodies have the gorgets or great bacinets, so haven't really tried to work with those. The WotR bodies have separate heads, but a different neck joint, so you need to put something in there to fill some space. I use a thin slice of ~2mm plastic rod. The helms are also pretty large, but then, they are great helms so I think they look fine.

And here they are painted! Just need to do sigils on the shields and snow on the bases, but I was out of patience for the first and out of snow flock for the second.

The models posted above are joined by Rob Stark, seen earlier in the thread who's a Perry WotR MAA with a Fireforge cloak and a Warlord celt head. The bearded knight is also a build from earlier, but I swapped his arms for new ones from the Agincourt set. All in all, a ten man unit for Oathmark or 9th Age.

What do you think?

You didn’t hang around with those.

Great job, they fit the bill - will look even better with the wolf sigil

I've been really enjoying painting units since converting this to a mass battle project. 45 models painted in January just for this, plus a a few random models and a game table built for Rangers of Shadow Deep is probably a record.

Wow! You got them done quick! They've turned out great!

I really like the gradient effect you've got on the shields too

Thank you! Did a tiny bit of two-brush blending, but it's not a technique I'm super comfy with.
