Thanks fellas. Looking forward to getting them painted up, just need to get a few other things finished and away from the painting table first.

I have more things to show! I bought Claymore Castings great men at arms a little while back, and here are a few lightly converted to fill the ranks of my Starks. Some of my fully armored models felt a bit boring, I wanted a bit more character. These guys represent a Stark retainer, a Hornwood man who has found a very large axe, and Morgan "Middle" Liddle of the highland clans.

Ooohh this all looks very promising! I like the characterfull trio you painted! They add some extra vibe in between the troops!

Thanks mate. Really recommend Claymore Castings. Just slightly shorter compared to Perry 100 year war, great way to add some more variety to the fully plate clad Perrys for Game of Thrones.

Hey guys!

Today I have for you some WIP terrain. I've been working on terrain for a fishing village, something that can stand in for Salt Pans, Stony Shore or any of the many other coastal locations mentioned. Today I layed out some more or less painted buildings and other terrain pieces along with my big harbor piece to see what it would look like. I only own Frostgrave-style mats at the moment, but will get something a little more neutral to feature this terrain on later.

What do you think? What would you like to see added? I'm thinking market stalls, carts and civilians (probably Perrys).

Looking good already!!
I think some generic fences, little walls and the like would help to make it a bit less neat looking :)

I think you need some small animal pens/vegatable gardens. They add character, and obstacles in the way of fences.

I already have some pigs and piglets. Can't decide if I want to buy wattle fence or make my own round pole fences.

very nice indeed ! You would need some farm animals and some village inhabitants for looting games!

The knights are done! Except of course the little things you notice when taking pictures. So here we have an 8 man unit and a mounted Warlord for SAGA.

Robb Stark was done to match my foot version of the same character. He is accompanied by various named and unnamed mounted warriors. We have young Lord Hornwood, whose death creates a lot of problems in the north, Lord Tallheart who matches his foot version as well. Then we have a younger Lady Mormont from Bad Squiddo, and one of the Manderlys. This one might be Ser Willas. A couple of Stark men at arms accompany them into battle.

What do you think of photos with a background like this? I never could seem to get a good color balance on my white or black backgrounds.
