Gettysburg tour - visitors view
« on: May 19, 2016, 02:18:52 PM »
One of the blogs I follow has just been to the Gettysburg site.

Though not warmers or history buffs, the views and visit to the site are worth the 12 minutes to view esp from my UK viewer.

I was there last Friday and Saturday  :D

A magical place.

Went 18 months ago, we retired while having tea at the Dobbin House.  Fantastic place!

Was at the 150th. Amazing place and I will never forget driving into town along the Emmitsburg Road, getting our picture taken on glass plate at the Victorian photo studio. Excellent tour and lots of very friendly people. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
