No. 72 Irish Hero/Company Champion - Warlord Games

As an aside I must say this thread has both inspired and lit a fire under my arse to actually get stuck in to my long threatened TYW/ECW Project, with a bit of luck I may be able to get in another entry or two before then end...if not i'm glad I participated!

(If the pic isn't up to snuff I can take another)

Thank you very much. Very kind of you.

You really  have no reason for being nervous, very nice work on a lovely figure :)

Seconded, a great introduction to your work. ;D

Nothing to be nervous about. One of my favourite figures from one of my favourite miniatures ranges. And you've done a good job with him.

Number 73 - again from Wargames Foundry Seadogs and Swashbucklers - Governor Weatherby's Friends And Relations

With black armour and beard, you've transformed that Border river very nicely into a spaniard!

Stout Kentish fellow resisting the Spanish interloper - 1588

Foundry Swashbuckler sculpted by Mike Owen (possibly my favourite range of all time, love painting these).

EDIT: CAPTAIN BLOOD - I agree with you. My favourites too.
Unfortunately, I need to remove him for now... Please check the rules at the head of the thread... Only one entry per member in any 24 hour period. Sorry
:(

Richard

Edit: oooops, how'd I miss that, it's in boldas well.   My apologies.

Eureka. They have a a few fantastic sets of 18th century characters. I have had this one in the pile for at least 10 years.
