Right on both accounts too,we used the Take the High Ground scenario from the rulebook basically a frontal assualt!
Game would probably have benefitted from a few tweaks if I'm honest!  :)

Game tonight was Osprey's new set,Rebels and Patriots.
Scenario H,Attack the fort.
Pic 1.
"Take 'em".
Pic 2 Overview of fort and defenders.
Pic 3.The assualt begins.
Pic 4.Adelante!
Pic 5.Travis was the last of the defenders to go down, but not before snapping his sword and throwing it at his attackers.
Good game,lots of laughs,really like the rules.

Had a great time playing this game, our third outing with Rebels and Patriots and we haven't had a bad game yet!
I was Travis, so it didn't turn out well for me. If I played it again I would defend with six figure Line infantry units rather than skirmish units as in these rules skirmishers fight with 6 dice instead of 12.
The ground around the fort is open but the attackers are across it quite quickly so shooting doesn't really come into it.
My thanks to Romark for hosting a cracking game, I took some photos on my phone so here they are :)
