I really like your setup.  Could you please include a detail photo or two of the bolt mounting system for your tree trunks?  As they say imitation is the highest form of flattery!
Thanks, Curt

Thanks again for the positive remarks.

Yes, thanks, James, staining the tops is probably the way I will go : )

Curt - here are the photos you requested. Enjoy!

Chris

I love your work!

Can you please tell me where you purchased those cork tiles?

Also have you heard of Gamers Grass?  the 12mm tufts and flowers would look nice with your terrain.

Hi timmy!

Thanks for the link to Gamers Grass.

I buy the cork in 12" square tiles, (packages of 4 tiles) at Michael's, and always with a 40%-off coupon  :)

Chris

Chris, I'm a "40% off coupon" junkie, too...love that they now have them online. I keep that page saved on my smart phone for Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnne Fabrics... lol lol lol

Thanks, Hitman!

Mike, sounds like Michael's 40%-off coupons are a popular business model  lol

FYI the tops of the trees have all been stained, per some excellent suggestions from this group. Planning to put on a Black Powder game at the Warlord: Open Games Day in Oklahoma City in June and I'll post some photos afterward.

Bests,
Chris
