A few painted Lurkers (Update 6/6/16 Mummy)
« on: May 25, 2016, 06:15:46 PM »
Quite a while ago I bought a small collection of minis from Malebolgia on this forum, with the intention of painting them up for Strange Aeons 2nd ed. In the meantime I got sidetracked with other projects and life in general, but have slowly made some headway with them.

"The Shadow knows!!! Hahahahaha!"

That is a great start for your Lurkers.

Having a Lizardman group is something that I am lacking.
I may have to add one soon(ish).
 ;)

Thanks mate. I also have some proper degenerate hill billies, a huge freaking Mummy and a couple of tentacle things to paint up. I lack some Deep Ones which I might have to get in a fish... I mean FLASH!!!  lol

This is what I already have.

And that is a fine selection of nasty buggers to keep you going for a while.

I particularly like those Hillbillies.
Where are they from?

Thanks mate  :D. I honestly don't recall, 'little Mutie' is quite slim, feeling a bit like a Hasslefree, but I'll pop a query over to Malebolgia and ask him if he remembers.

According to Malebolgia: "The first three are by Alpha Forge (which were then sold by Mega Minis) and the fourth is by RAFM."

And with this mini I have now finally painted all the Lurkers I've got  :D!!! Just in time for the game of SA 2nd edition tonight against my mate Matt who'll be using them. I will play Threshold and there might even be a little scary tale to boot  lol!

The mini is a Reaper Nefsokar but it's missing the top bit of a huge axe.

I like that Mummy, the bright colours work really well.

Cheers, mate.
 :)

It was the AF ones that I did not recognise.
I like 'em and maywell have to keep an eye open for them in future.

Cheers mate, thanks for the positive comments. I can't stress enough how much Armypainter Quickshade has helped my painting and I always get really lovely results with it :).
